Trip 6 - Scandinavia, the Baltics, and Greenland
26 June 2002 to 13 August 2002
After years of heading to the tropics and sweltering for six weeks, I vowed
to go someplace cooler, and Scandinavia and the Baltics promised a
rich variety of cultures, scenery, and cuisines. Greenland, which is partly
administered by Denmark, fit in with the Scandinavian theme, and its plethora of
worthwhile hikes and other outdoor activities provided a fulfilling two-week
conclusion to this trip.
